Lance Autrey
Managing Director

Lance Autrey serves as Managing Director of RDP and coordinates project management and operations foreach development. Lance has over 20 years of experience in ranch outfitting and ranch management, having co-hosted Texas Deer Hunter TV on The Outdoor Channel as well as operating his own exotic game ranch, Axis Creek Ranch.

Jeff Clark
Operations/Ranch Whisperer

Jeff Clark is the Founder of RDP, a licensed agent, and is responsible for sourcing acquisitions, implementing development strategy, and managing the closing team. Jeff has over 30 years of experience in rural and residential land investment and development, urban planning, homebuilding, equity placement and Texas bank management.

You know Legends Texas ranch owners already. Can Legends help me develop my ranch?

We set up each ranch owner with trusted contractors to bring their vision to life. From setting up a septic system to building a dream barndominium, we have local resources to provide you and guide you each step of the way. Our recommended contractors have helped ranchers across all of our properties, including our partner’s themselves, so we share their contact with confidence.

  • Anyone who wants to get out of the city, enjoy nature, and create a lasting legacy for their family.

    Most ranchers are new to ranch living and want a different experience for their family, free from devices and traffic. Ranch living is the perfect escape to a slower pace and the chance to make lasting memories for generations to come.

    Ranchers are either purchasing property for a weekend getaway, planning to phase out to their ranch full time in the future, or making it their primary residence now.

  • Ranches range in size from 7-200 acres, but most of our ranches average around 10 acres.

  • Most of our ranchers are families who want to spend more time outside, kayaking, hiking, and making memories together.

    Ranch living creates memories you just can’t replicate in the city. Families find their kids learning new things, like how to skip rocks, kayaking on the lake, or finding a new trail, instead of being glued to their devices.

  • Included with the purchase of each ranch is gated, keypad entry to the property, white rock roads throughout the property, utilities laid to the property line, and community amenities such as a pickleball court, schoolhouse for virtual learning, and a fishing lake.

    Satellite internet may be set up through multiple services in the area: ViaSat, Hughesnet, Suddenlink, and Starlink

    Water may be set up through a variety of means depending on your ranch needs and the topography of the property. This could include a well water, rain catching, storage tanks, or pulling from a pond.

  • We will work with any bank, but suggest financing through out trusted lender, Walker Daily with Lone Star Ag.

    Most ranchers finance a 20 year note with 20% down payment

  • We offer turn-key packages to help you prepare your ranch and walk through each step to bring your ranch to life. For example, this could include rolling things into your financing, like creating roads throughout your property or building a septic system.

Our Track Record

Over the past 18 months, Legends has welcomed more than 120 new families into our ranch communities, having sold out our first development, Legends of Fortune Bend, in just 12 months, and our second development, Big Bear Mountain, in only 10 months.  Legends of Comanche Moon is our 2022 offering and we are already selling Phase II ranches, with Phase III opening this summer.  We are averaging 5 ranch closings per week, so do not wait to schedule your tour to find your ranch.
